Anton Laush­kin is curr­ent­ly pur­suing a dou­ble major in Data Sci­ence and Envi­ron­men­tal Sci­en­ces at Cen­tral Euro­pean Uni­ver­si­ty (CEU) in Vien­na. As he acqui­res know­ledge in the­se disci­pli­nes, his goal is to advan­ce in Urban Data Sci­ence and enhan­ce the sus­taina­bi­li­ty and liva­bi­li­ty of urban are­as. With a foun­da­ti­on in Urban Stu­dies from high school, he par­ti­ci­pa­ted in uni­ver­si­ty sum­mer pro­grams and led a peer-lear­ning pro­ject on the sub­ject. At pre­sent, he works as a geo­gra­phi­cal data sci­en­tist at a Ger­man start­up that focu­ses on muni­ci­pal cli­ma­te adapt­a­ti­on and is a par­ti­ci­pant in two civic initia­ti­ves in Vien­na: “Gür­tel Lie­be” and the deve­lo­p­ment of a park­let on the CEU cam­pus.
