Beschreibung

A drag cow from the Alps and a drag jaguar from the Amazon meet for an adventure, full of questions about colonialism, climate change, and LGBTQIA+ activism. Using drag, performance and loving disobedience as tools of liberation and as political acts, the two creatures ask fundamental questions about the animal industry and colonial extraction, the suppression of queer life and indigenous knowledge, the monoculture of bodies and of ecosystems.
Soya the Cow and Uhura Bqueer are two glamorous, dystopian beasts, ready to devour the normative thoughts of an apocalyptic society. The film screening is followed by a conversation with the artists.
