Karin is a cultural strategist and project director based in Malmö, Sweden, with extensive experience leading large-scale cultural events and institutions. She served as Managing Director of the City Host Event for the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in both 2013 and 2024, overseeing city-wide programming and international collaboration. From 2015 to 2023, she held the position of Program Director at Malmö Live Concert Hall, where she was responsible for developing and managing a diverse range of cultural activities beyond the symphonic repertoire, including concerts, festivals, and interdisciplinary projects. Earlier in her career, she served as the General Manager of the Malmö Festival, shaping the city’s largest annual cultural event. Karin is recognized for her ability to bridge artistic vision with strategic planning, playing a key role in positioning Malmö as a vibrant cultural hub in the Nordics.
