Inger is a Danish author and art historian with a background in museum leadership and cultural consultancy across the Nordic region. She has held key positions such as inspector at the Heerup Museum (2001–2004), acting director of the National Gallery of the Faroe Islands (2004–2005), and later director of the Department of Cultural Studies at the University of the Faroe Islands (2020–2021). From 2015 to 2023, she led major cultural initiatives as project manager at the Nordic House in the Faroe Islands, and since 2023, she has been part of the team at the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK). In 2024, she made her literary debut with the novel Dødsbo, which was awarded the prestigious Bodil and Jørgen Munch-Christensen Debutant Prize.
